STAINLESS STEEL RJT UNIONS
The RJT (Ring Joint Type) union is by far the most popular in the UK.
Used for many applications in the dairy, brewery, food processing and general engineering industries.
The union consists of a hexagon nut in 304 stainless steel, a male part and pressed liner both in grade 316. The joint ring is an “O” type joint ring.
Sizes 1″ OD to 4″ OD available ex stock.
Manufactured to BS4825 PT5 Standard. (Formally BS1864)
Standard joint ring is Nitrile – Viton, EPDM & PTFE Solid also available.
Blue EPDM Metal Detectable seals also available.

STAINLESS IDF UNIONS
The IDF Union (International Dairy Federation) is considered to be a superior fitting to RJT as it has a smoother, cleaner bore reducing the possibility of bug traps etc. Ideal for use with C.I.P (Clean In Place) systems.
Similar to an RJT union, with a nut in 304 stainless steel, a weld liner and male part in 316, and a “T” style joint ring in nitrile.
Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock.
Manufactured to BS4825 Part 4 Standard.
The “T” style joint ring is supplied in nitrile – EPDM also available.
Blank liners in 316, Blank nut & chains, Hose liners, IDF/BSP adaptor, IDF Male/Female 90d Elbow IDF Spanners also stocked.
DIN UNIONS
DIN unions are manufactured to DIN 11851 std.
Consisting of a round slotted nut in 304, Weld liner and weld male in 316, and a “D” style EPDM joint ring.
Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock. Along with Metric Standards = DN10,DN15,DN32,DN125,DN150
The standard ‘D’ style joint ring is EPDM, but other compounds are available on request.
Fully machined blank liners in 316 are also stocked.
C-Spanners to suit both DIN & SMS (1″ – 4″) is also stocked.
CLAMP UNIONS (Also known as Tri-Clamp)
Uses two ferrules clamped together with a joint ring to form a superior hygienic union. The two ferrules have a tapered flange which when compressed by the clamp, it forms a tight hygienic seal.
The clamp can be removed by hand using the wing nut, no spanners required.
Ex. Stock delivery 1/2″ o/d to 12” o/d
Ferrules manufactured to BS4825 PT3 – Internal finish 0.8Ra. Nominal bore Schedule 10 & 40 are available on short lead times. With an extensive range of ASMI BPE SF1 & SF4 ferrules Ex. Stock
Single & Double hinged clamps along with High pressure bolted clamps available from stock. Full range of Gaskets available from stock include EPDM, VITON, SILICONE PTFE solid & PTFE/VITON envelope. Blank caps in 316L and Clamp to BSP adaptors are also stocked.
SMS UNIONS
SMS Unions consist of a round slotted nut in 304 stainless, Weld liner and weld male in 316, and a “L” style EPDM joint ring.
Sizes 1″ OD – 4″ OD available ex-stock
The standard ‘L’ style joint ring is EPDM, but other compounds are available on request.
Blanks in 316 are also stocked.
